GAME OFFICIALS
Capital Area Team Sports is in search of Game Officials for GRIDIRON AMERICA gamedays, capable of providing essential control and administration of games on the field, and supporting colleagues for those games to which they are assigned.
Essential duties, traits and responsibilities include:
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of personal integrity and honesty.
- Ability to act impartially, without consideration to prior interactions.
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively.
- Passion for excellence and continual improvement.
- Ability to work under stressful situations and tight time constraints.
- Maintenance of game clock/play clock during games, advising others on field and off of timing-related matters.
- Instant recall of GRIDIRON AMERICA playing rules to convey information to players, other officials, and others as needed.
- Availability throughout gamedays to work multiple games as needed.
Experience as a game official is preferred, but not essential as training will be provided.
CLUB GENERAL MANAGER
Capital Area Team Sports is in search of General Managers for GRIDIRON AMERICA member clubs which are organized by CATS, capable of taking individual players and orchestrating their participation into a cohesive on-field team. This position will be responsible for overseeing player relations and team-specific gameday operations on the field.
Essential duties, traits and responsibilities will include:
- Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
- High degree of personal integrity and honesty
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively to meet team and league goals.
- Passion for excellence and continual improvement.
- Adaptability to changing environments and situations.
- Oversight of team operations, including serving as liaison between players and league operations staff, game officials, game supervisors and others.
Experience as a team operator or player is preferred, but not essential.
DIRECTOR OF MEDIA PRODUCTION
Capital Area Team Sports is in search of a Director of Media Production capable of taking our GRIDIRON AMERICA flag football contests and converting them into suitable television and other video productions, suitable for public dissemination. This position will be responsible for overseeing the conceptualization and production of GRIDIRON AMERICA content to be aired online, at events, and potentially via television.

- Oversight of strategic planning and production of video elements, including pre-game open, intermission features, and special event/ceremony features.
- Determining content allocation and supervision of extensive promotion of all content properties to be distributed on various platforms.
- Development of concepts and management of content production to engage viewers.
- Research, writing and editing of "Touchdown Television" scripts.
- Arrangement of talent, guests, locations and/or sets.
