Skyliners, Knights Invite All to Join

December 4 -- Two teams took the field yesterday in a fun, spirited pair of preseason games as both teams prepare for their debut in GRIDIRON AMERICA on Sunday, January 8 - and they invite you to join them in the weeks ahead.

Patrick Weiss' Raleigh Skyliners and the New Hope Knights, under the direction of Rich Cameron, split their doubleheader, with the Skyliners winning the 5-man contest 24-21 while the Knights took the 4-man game, 31-26.  And both teams are looking for others to join them in future weeks.  "Our turnout has been improving as we get closer to the start of the season," explained Weiss, who also directs player recruitment for the league, "and with just five weeks to go until the season starts, we're hoping more and more players and teams will come out and run with us."
