December 4 -- Capital Area Team Sports, Inc. ("CATS") has reached an agreement with the City of Raleigh in which two of its more revered parks, Cedar Hills and Williams, will serve as the home of GRIDIRON AMERICA for its inaugural, 2012 seasons of flag football.

Located at 5600 Sweetbriar Street, Cedar Hills is familiar to CATS members, having served as the home of our Independent Flag Football League for several years as well as a frequent practice facility for a number of our Men's League Softball clubs.  Williams Park, located at the intersections of Lynn and Lead Mine Road, has also served CATS well through the years as an alternate site for IFFL games.  GRIDIRON AMERICA will alternate between the sites, playing some weeks games at each beginning Sunday, January 8th.
