GRIDIRON AMERICA Men's 5-Man Contact

Our 5-man contact style of play is comprised of teams of between 8 and 12 players each.  Each game comprises 32 minutes of play (split into two 16-minute halves of action).  Teams have 5 players on the field for each play.  Each team plays at least 8 regular season games, with playoffs following for those teams that qualify. Contact blocking between offensive and defensive line players is permitted within a neutral zone extending 5 yard from the offensive line of scrimmage.

CATS is currently discussing a second style of men's contact play with potential team operators, with 6-Man and 7-Man being considered.  When a decision is made on which style of play is most popular, information on it will be provided here.

GRIDIRON AMERICA Co-Ed 4-on-4 (Non-Contact)

Our co-ed style of play is comprised of teams between 8 and 12 players each.  Each game comprises 32 minutes of play (split into two 16-minute halves of action).  Teams have 4 players (2 male, 2 female) on the field for each play.  Each team plays at least 8 regular season games, with playoffs following for teams that qualify.  There is no contact blocking permitted between opposing players; only "screen" blocking is permitted.

Our women's style of play is comprised of teams between 8 and 12 players each.  Each game comprises 32 minutes of play (split into two 16-minute halves of action).  Teams have 4 players on the field for each play.  Each team plays at least 8 regular season games, with playoffs following for teams that qualify.  There is no contact blocking permitted between opposing players; only "screen" blocking is permitted.
